Sold on Facials
This was a gift from a “friend”, and was the first facial I’ve ever gotten and I honestly did not what to expect. What I did get was a soothing hour of relaxation. I could feel the tension ease as Anne worked her magic on my face. The deep cleansing facial extracted and removed all manner of things. My skin has never felt so smooth and fresh before. I am now sold on facials and definitely will be returning to Shaloniss Spa again soon.
Superb Facial
I’ve gone to Anne for facials a few times now. Her facial price is very reasonable given the quality of service received. Her very well presented spa is easily found and there is plenty of street parking available all day.
The experience has got better on every visit. Anne does a thorough job of cleansing the face, removing all the things we don’t want to mention. She then massages the face to stimulate and tighten the various muscles and ends with a wonderful relaxing mask. My face has definitely felt better than ever before since I’ve been going to her.
I love Anne. She is very personable, intelligent, calming and easy to talk to.
A Great Find
This place provides excellent skin service!! I have lived in East Auckland for a few years and had always been disappointed with the lack of quality facial services available in the area until I recently discovered this place. It's very cozy and friendly environment, with friendly professional staff. I feel so rejuvenated after every facial!
Facial – Shaloniss Spa. The best!
The experience at Shaloniss Spa was wonderful! I felt like queen, pampered and nourished! The staff and the director of the spa Anne are very caring, professional and very welcoming. I loved the facial so much! It left my skin amazingly nourished and rejuvenated! I recommend it to every woman. It is very healthy and nourishing to take care of the sacred body, mind and spirit!
Can't wait to go again!
I went and had a facial and it really was an experience. I felt so nurtured and comfortable. This spa is something different and really special. Easy to find, tranquil and such a little treasure.
The facial I received has left my skin glowing for days. Anne knew exactly what I needed. I can't wait to go back and try out their other beauty treatments and sauna. I haven't tried the massage services yet but I see they have a great range of options to choose from. If they are anything like their facial I will be very impressed. I will definitely be going back ASAP!

When I arrived I was greeted with this beautiful lady with amazing skin!! She has a sweet and sincere smile and a wonderful manner.
The spa décor is great, warm and inviting Soothing music plays while you undergo treatment. First extraction, then a series of sanitizing, hydrating and I'm not really sure what!....but it all felt so good. You know you are in experienced, capable hands.
Her prices are reasonable and her treatment is thorough. She doesn't try to sell you everything on her shelves. If you ask, she will tell you anything you want to know.
Loved it all so much I think I'm gonna become a regular. I also thing is is a wonderful gift!! She does have gift certificates!!! One for me, one for a friend.

Massage Reviews for Shaloniss Spa
Simply Magical!
My wonderful husband treated me to a bit of indulgence at Shaloniss Spa. Manager Anne greeted me warmly and her lovely smile instantly took away any hesitations I had about visiting a spa that I had not been to before. I started with 20 minutes in the very clean (and new) infrared sauna which relaxed and eased my tired body. This was followed by one of the most magical massages that I have ever had. I opted for the hot stone massage and the skill with which Anne used these to loosen and relax my tight muscles was exceptional. Absolutely one of the very best spa experiences that I have ever had. I came away feeling so relaxed and totally pampered. I will definitely be hinting to my husband to treat me again soon!
Very Very Good
My experience was simply outstanding. While I regularly have massages, this was my first full body massage for many years. As my body has lost its shape (and gained a few extra curves) I have become very self-conscious and have avoided them. Anne immediately sensed my apprehension and made me feel so comfortable that my booked foot massage was soon extended into a full body relaxation massage. I thoroughly enjoyed it and came away feeling more relaxed than I have for many years. I am so appreciative to Anne for the respect and care that she showed towards me. I will certainly be coming again and promoting her business to my friends.
Best Massage Ever!
I am set to become a regular. So far I have visited twice and was fortunate to have the same therapist for both appointments. The spa is beautifully presented and creates a perfect haven of indulgence from the outside world. So far I have enjoyed two of the most relaxing massages that I have ever had. I think I may aim to work my way slowly through all the various options, including the sauna and beauty treatments that they offer! A very professional and calming place that I highly recommend to everyone.
Impressed
I recently visited on the advice of a friend. I was greeted by a friendly and professional young lady. The reception area was pleasant and well decorated. The massage room was warm and clean, with very relaxing music at a good level. The masseuse I had was fabulous! She had a gentle personality, which put me at ease, and she only spoke as much was necessary (always a plus for me!). She gave a beautiful firm massage focusing on my areas of concern. One of the best that I have had in a very long time. The service and professionalism was perfect and the place very well presented. Will definitely be returning for more!!
Amazing experience!
After an exhausting week at work I needed a massage to ease the knots in my body. A colleague recommended Shaloniss Spa, and as it was not too far away from where I live I rang and made an appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue. When you walk in, you are hit with the tranquil environment and the welcoming professionalism of the staff was very reassuring. I like firm massages where they really dig in with their elbows. The young lady I had was extremely skilled and well trained. She certainly knew what she was doing and gave me a decent workover which really helped relieve my knots. I've gotten a lot of massages from different places I’ve travelled, and have to say this is one of the best places I have visited so far.
A hidden gem!
I have tried many massage spas in many cities from different countries. This place in Pakuranga really is a hidden gem and my therapist was much better than most that I have had. Very well presented, clean and cosy, I felt in a paradise. The staff were friendly and had a very good attitude. The whole experience was excellent. Plus, the prices were affordable. I would like to recommend this place for those looking for a genuine experience in East Auckland.
Sensational Oil Massage!
I would say I have had a large number of massages and I put this place right at the top. There where 2 of us ladies and we both said exactly the same thing - that this place is sensational!!!
The lady masseuses were very professional – the rooms well presented, dimmed and very comfortable. We both had 1 hour oil massage and the oil was warm and beds where not too hard. The music was divine and it felt like I was back in a tropical paradise. I would recommend this place to everyone. Do yourself a favour!!
Shhhhh! !!! Don't let the secret out!
Simply brilliant. As I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome. I was made comfortable the whole time and was asked throughout the massage if pressure was okay or if any areas needed extra-long attention. She worked on the sore spots and I had a thorough deep tissue massage. Body wipe down with hot towels at the end was a nice touch.
Try it out and relax, you will love it. But don't tell your friends about it, keep the secret between us!

Simply fabulous!!!! Not much more can be said. Beautiful sauna, exotic calming premises, wonderful staff. As they say, this really is an Eden of peace and beauty.
